Welcome to our class website!  You're going to find that our class website is a great place for you to come and visit on a daily basis.  Check back often as it will be updated regularly. 

Special Notes:    

Thank you so much for such a spectacular Teacher Appreciation Week!  I felt so loved and appreciated.  Thank you so much for the flowers, gift cards, and kind notes.  I am such a lucky teacher! 

Reading Log Activities are officially DONE for this school year.  

In place of Reading Log Activities, the students are completing their "The Great Californian--A Scrapbook Project."  The research (the answers to the page that went home with their project assignment) is due by May 14th, and the actual project is due on May 28th!  The purpose in the May 14th deadline is to make sure the students are on track for completing the project.  I will quickly check that they adequately answered the questions, and then will sign that they may begin writing. 

Social Studies Test on Friday.  Mr. Warren gave the students a study guide on Monday.  If they are sure to complete and study the study guide, they should do great! 

Open House is June 2nd, from 6-8.  We're busy plastering our walls with the amazing work of our scholars...can't wait to celebrate their successes with you! 

Drama Club!  Our Drama Club is performing "Willy Wonka, Jr." on June 9th at 6:00 PM at Beckman High School.  All students who attend (for free) will receive $500 bear bucks!!!  Come support your classmates who have been working very hard to create a wonderful show for you to see!

Ladera has gone GREEN...literally!  Wear GREEN on Wednesdays in honor of our Walk to School Wednesday program.

Remember to always wear RED on Fridays!
